Venator Bug-Fix

Im very happy to present you our new Venator. Of course we have not change the Venator but as you might know it had a bug. when the hardpoint of the SPHA-T was destroyed you however could use the weapon. it took some time but we fixed that now. As you see the mentioned harpoint is destroyed and the ability button is disabledVenator Bug-Fix

Ok guy. With the second letter you knew that the searched word "update". With the third letter you had the bad feeling to wait for it until today. But here we go, our special Star Wars update. I'm sorry that some of you thought we want to release 1.2. I did not want to generate that mind. I thought it was a funny way to get you prepared for the most important date in the year and i think you liked it at the end of the day. Beside the written update and a new video we want to give you some more pictures of development process. As mentioned the team was working on some more code stuff and some videos. Because its difficult to show you guys some code we want to share this small peeks. May the 4th be with you :)Finaly ...

New Holograms

z3r0x mentioned that in a comment a few years ago. Making holograms is hell. There are so many many ways to create one and many many more ways to make it look wrong. In the previous version you can see its much to dark and there was a shiny white bar moving down. that looks, after seeing the new one, like crap. Grievous Fix

In some cases Grievous didnt want to respawn when he was dead. It turns out that the problem had to do with his Magnaguards. We fixed this now and as you can see he is respawningGrievous Fix

Intro Movie

In the past we showed you already some screen shots of our new intro movie. We made some process with that however there is still a long way to go. For the future we are thinking of using this kind of videos more often to make the game experience more real. We will see how far we can go with that. Maybe you want to estimate what scene we are showing you. This Acclamator model was made only for the movie. Its model can not be used for the mod itself. Intro Movie

New Launcher

We are not sleeping here and have created some new stuff for further releases of the mod. For version 1.2 there is still some stuff to do like coding some units, do balancing stuff, doing some last minute 3D-stuff and fixing bugs. At this moment we are making an extension to the current launcher that comes with 1.1.5. The new version will have an online update feature that allows you to download minor updates for the mod directly from our servers over the launcher. This means that you do not need to jump to Moddb and download and apply the Patch. The new launcher will do this for you automatically. It will also report you when starting it up if there is a new version and you can read the changelog too. This is pretty handy so you do not must read through lines of comments when a new version comes and what it contains. New Launcher

The reason we always give to you is that we are working on the mod if we find some free time and that our work is very code-based at the moment. Well in fact this is correct but this time we want to try to give you a peak how we actually do work. Here are a few examples that are currently our tasks, which need to be done for 1.2 beside the "usual" modelling and skinning stuff. pic 1 shows you the way we program the launcher. The background image is missing here, because we do want to show you that a bit later :) pic 2 shows the way we make our brand new Holograms pic 3 is a sound file from Anakin that needs to be edited pics 4 and 5 shows you some coding stuff. I think you get an idea why we cant post too much images because what we do is not quiet interesting, isn't it ?Development
